Austria - International Rally

Hanfdorf Reingers, Austria

29 July to 04 August 2012

2012

WIMA Austria are organising next year’s rally, which is in Waldviertel region of Lower Austria. The “village” is 12 km from Litschau, Austria’s most northerly town. They have reserved the whole of the camping ground in Reingers for WIMA!

· Arrival is from 12 noon Sunday 29th July 2012

· Departure is no later than 1 4.00 hours Saturday 4th August 2012

All registrations are to go via National Presidents. You cannot book directly with WIMA Austria.

Due to local conditions the total number of participants is restricted to 250 people.

WIMA GB’s allocation is 20 places (at the moment, this may change). If you wish to express interest in attending the rally, it is essential that I am notified no later than 10 January 201 2. If there are less than 20 people wishing to attend, then our space places will be offered to other Divisions. If there are more than 20 people wishing to go, priority will be given firstly to paid up WIMA members, then by “time served” in

WIMA GB. Of course, a waiting list will be kept.

(This was discussed and agreed at our Committee Meeting on 5 November.)

Please also note, BEFORE you reserve a place, that FULL PAYMENT will be required to WIMA GB by 20 February 2012.

Fees as follows:

Per Person in tent €200 (excl. Breakfast) (approx £172)

Per Person in caravan/camper bus €250 (excl. Breakfast) (approx £215)

Per Person staying off the camping ground (own hotel booking! ) €150 (approx £129)

Note this is 1 2km from the rally venue. You need to book and pay

for this yourself – not through me.

There is also a coach tour to Vienna. On the return drive from Vienna there will also

be a visit to a Heurigen. The cost for the transfer to and from Vienna is an additional

€20. (£18) This has to be paid with the rally cost.

Conversion from Euro to Sterling will be at the prevailing rate in February 2012, plus

a small amount to cover bank charges.

So, please let me know by email, post, text, phone, carrier pigeon, if you wish to be

on the list of attendees from WIMA GB, and also which accommodation you will

want, and Yes/No for Vienna. Once you are on the list, I will send any additional

information as and when it comes in, and we can sort breakfast out nearer the time.
